The world is a beautiful place and I find joy in the simple things. Each week I post seven snapshots of my week, with the aim of talking less and simply revelling in the beauty the world has to offer.   Sometimes the prettiest foods are the most delicious. This particular image is from Pinterest. I just love the soft, minty greens that can be created by mixing Amsterdam Green with Old White. Beautiful Wisteria in Stamford, UK. Lovely soft lilacs, mauves, whites and greens make up these beautiful Wisteria flowers. Flowers from the husband. Such beauty in the details -...

Antibes is a must, with either Arles or English Yellow for that lovely yellow tone.         This lovely colour looks great paired with true greys, charcoals, whites and black in a very clean, simple look.       It can also look fantastic when paired with colours found in nature - just look to flowers with foliage for inspiration! Pinks and reds...

Decorating with Vintage Florals

In the March edition of Ideal Home Magazine, there featured a great article on how to incorporate mixed vintage florals into home decor. This is a look that I simply love, and that I have in my own home. The hallway, stairs and landing areas are full of mirrors, various floral paintings and prints, vintage cake plates and more. Mixed together, they make a stunning display. I especially love the collection of embroideries, oil paintings and prints shown in the top right - these are the types of art that we get in stock whenever we can! Shop the look...
